TIM2021 Technology Investment Meeting; an Opportunity for International Joint Venture
Reaching out to potential ideas that have a great team to support can be troublesome, especially in the tech field. The TIM meeting offers the best ideas and introduces tech-based startups to international investors with expertise in technology. Startups from different countries express their ideas and share their experiences to interact with D-8 member countries and provide solutions for the shared problems in the technology sector. TIM experts, on the other hand, try to minimize the potential uncertainty for investors, by analyzing ideas and providing startup managers with cutting edge knowledge. This is why the event is a unique opportunity for the international joint venture.
What Is TIM And How It Is Hold?
TIM stands for Technology Investment Meeting, where founders, business mentors, and investors gather together to share their experiences with each other, learn new things, and discover business opportunities. TIM—which has been already held in Iran in 2017 and 2020—is going to be held for the third time on February 16 and 17, 2021. The cooperation of the D8 Organization—eight Islamic countries, namely Indonesia, Iran, Turkey, Nigeria, Pakistan, Egypt, Malaysia, and Bangladesh (D8TTN)—and technology transfer network among these eight countries have led to foreign investors and reputable international mentors attending TIM.
Most part of the meeting will be held online this year, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The meeting agenda follows the opening of the executive core, private sessions concerning startups and accelerators’ equity, and startup pitches. The opening of core management TIM2021 will be held in-person and foreign attendees can access the content provided online or attend the online sessions or lectures. Some parts of the content will be available offline.
