The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Prime Minister of Malaysia stressed that they are ready to further expand Tehran-Kuala Lumpur relations in all fields, especially in the economic field.
Dr. Hassan Rouhani and “Mohi-ud-Din Yassin” stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation of executive agreements between the two countries in the fields of trading and finance during the past years, especially during the pereiod of former Prime Minister. they also stressed that they will spare no effort to deepen this cooperation, which has continued and improved over the years.
The President of Iran and the Prime Minister of Malaysia also stressed the importance of the UN Security Council and the need to maintain this agreement, They considered the illegal US sanctions, a violation of human rights against Iran especially in the current situation.moreover, They stated that they would continue to support the international community and would oppose sanctions.
Both countris considered the outbreak of the Corona virus as a global challenge and shared the view that it is essential for Islamic countries to use their joint capabilities to help each other fight against the virus.
Dr. Rouhani and Mr. Yassin said that,”they are ready to use the experiences of Iran and Malaysia in the fight against covid-19 and to cooperate in the provision of health and medical items.”
