President of Pardis Technology Park Mahdi Saffarnia said companies in Pardis Technology Park have produced two types of vaccines and drugs to prevent and treat coronavirus, adding that the four items are now being tested. After the outbreak of coronavirus in Iran, Pardis Technology Park tried to take advantage of knowledge-based companies to fulfill people’s demands, Saffarinia added. He noted that some 30 companies were active in presenting services to society. Some 18 companies produced items which were directly used in fighting COVID19, Iranian official said.
He went on to say that three companies in Pardis Technology Park are active in diagnosing coronavirus. A company is studying stem cells and another one has made two drugs which are now being tested, Saffarnia said adding that some companies are active in producing ICU and CCU equipment.   He reiterated that other companies are producing disinfectants.
