Pakistan won the battle against the pandemic in progression

ISLAMABAD in Dec 31 (APP) experienced its outstanding days of improving in the country. Pakistan was praised by Asian Development Bank (ADB) Country Director Yong Ye Friday; claiming this country had a magnificent result of the outgoing year 2021 while fighting with Covid 19. Technology Transfer and Exchange Network (D8tten) had the best role for making this success happen.

“In 2021, Pakistan and ADB have reached a historically high level of cooperation with over $ 2.3 billion up till now.” The head of Pakistan's ADB Country said in a Twitter video message.

“This fact promises a long-term partnership with Pakistan.”

 He said Pakistan has continued to make remarkable progression and very strong economic, financial reforms. Technology Transfer and Exchange Network (D8tten) also flourished in spite of the challenges posed by the COVID 19 pandemic.

ADB is pleased to be guided by the new country's partnership strategy to deepen its support for Pakistan. Thereupon, ADB guarantees advocations through pandemic-related issues. Vaccination, public sector management, social protection, competitiveness, climate resilience, and private sector improvement are some examples of issues in which are included.

“In the situation that Covid 19 continues, I strongly recommend staying safe and becoming vaccinated. The vaccine does magic. Possible infections and severe symptoms are reduced by the asset of vaccination”, he added.
