The 4th Business & Technology Meeting (BTM2023) was conducted jointly with Mustafa (PBUH) Technology STEP on October 2nd, 2023, in Isfahan, Iran. This event was attended by over 70 high tech companies and 50 scientists who participated in the Mustafa (PBUH) Prize from various countries including Iran, India, Turkey, Nigeria, Malaysia, Pakistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Tunisia, Morocco, South Africa, and Bangladesh. The meeting's primary focus revolved around areas such as health (biological products), new and renewable energies, environment, and information technology. Various activities were organized throughout the event, including reverse pitch and pitch deck presentations, along with B2B meetings.
The opening of the meeting featured an introduction of the network and its accomplishments by Milad Sadrkhanlou, the President of D-8 TTEN. Following this, Dr. Gana Mohammad, the global director of the D-8 Health and Social Protection Programme (D-8 HSP), presented his organization and discussed the network's activities, particularly those carried out in West Africa. Attendees, particularly scientists and health technology companies, were encouraged to expand and enhance their involvement in these activities.
During the program, a collaboration agreement was established between Iranian GSN-Pars company and India's Empress Venture regarding the sale of 10,000 children's heart disease diagnosis systems within a three-year timeframe, amounting to approximately 15 million dollars.
Furthermore, three companies namely Foolad Technic, Foulad Mobarakeh Innovation and Technology Development (MSTID), and Novin Med presented eight technological demands, while Saman Energy, Nova Vira, Fara Tahghigh Sepahan, and Aria Health Nano Sensor Manufacturers showcased their latest achievements.
The event concluded with B2B meetings among the attendees, resulting in the signing of a memorandum of cooperation in the exchange of cultural products between Shams Animation Studio from Iran and Nurfilix Company from Malaysia.
