According to a report released by Microsoft Management Office in the Middle East and Africa: Turkey which is considered as the ‘’artificial intelligence leader’’ and also as a leading country in the region is ready to be active in the field of artificial intelligence.

Based on a report released by Microsoft Management Office in the Middle East and Africa, turkey as a mature and leading country in the region is ready to work in artificial intelligence field.

Turkey is also one of the top five countries including (Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan and South Africa) among 100 countries in the Middle East and Africa in the field of “artificial intelligence”. According to a report prepared with the collaboration of Microsoft, in order to evaluate active companies in artificial intelligence and important strategical areas in the Middle East and Africa, it is observed that by considering awareness and investments in artificial intelligence field, this is the Turkish leader in the region who makes the most investments in the field of artificial intelligence in the region.

The strategy of artificial intelligence in Turkey is mentioned below:

35% of companies in Turkey are actively using artificial intelligence technologies. We are optimistic to the impact of artificial intelligence on companies. Some companies will be using artificial intelligence by the end of the year. However, countries need advanced maturity to achieve artificial intelligence, as well as data management and the development of internal skills, Microsoft acknowledged that: we believe artificial intelligence strategies should be designed with a focus on individuals.

While products and services are evolving, employees can devote more time to their strategical tasks. Our goal is to help these companies to achieve more digital developments in our country.

Onur Doğan, manager of EY in turkey and the European leader of digital and innovation emphasized that Artificial intelligence in recent years with companies at the head of digital transformation programs is an inseparable part of digital world.

turkey considers 80% of senior management companies as one of its strategical priorities, 25% of companies consider artificial intelligence as one of their strategical digital priorities, 60% of Turkish companies recognize the importance of artificial intelligence as their main businesses and also uses artificial intelligence technologies actively while 15% of companies in Turkey consider themselves mature in terms of advanced artificial intelligence.

These rates have been studied more in the Middle East and Africa than in any other country. Companies in Turkey have both management and technology requirements at the same time to improve the business processes.43% of companies use this method in the Middle East and African region compared to 55% in Turkey.

Companies make the Maximum interest from machine learning technology

According to the report, artificial intelligence in Turkey mainly includes: Predictions, automation, ability of personalizing services and actions.

Companies benefit most from machine learning. Machine learning in the Middle East and utilization in Africa is 61% of the budget, this rate in Turkey is about 85%.

Artificial intelligence activities in Turkey are combined. among the benefits offered by artificial intelligence we can name, Operation optimization, Digital transformation of products and services, empower employees and be closer to customers, that 80% of companies in turkey expect effective benefits in this regard.

In this report, the level of maturity of artificial intelligence of companies was discussed in the framework of 8 capabilities which include: advanced analysis, data management, Artificial intelligence leadership, open cultural organizations, new innovations, agile development and collaboration of third party. Turkey has been the country with the highest score in two capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence. The percentage of advanced analysis capabilities was 3.4 out of 5 and data management capabilities was 3.6 out of 5.

Murat Gansu, the general manager of Microsoft Office in Turkey mentioned; Artificial intelligence for individuals, companies and institutions are ways of gaining competitive advantage.

Some companies use artificial intelligence as an element of technology, and sometimes it is used to provide new services communicate more efficiently with customers.
