Establishing the D-8 Co-fund Initiative (D-8 CoFI) in the field of technology and innovation on top of the agenda of D-8 Technology Transfer & Exchange Network

One of the most important priorities of Technology Transfer & Exchange Network (D-8 TTEN) is to create a groundwork for technological cooperation by focusing on attracting foreign investors to the member states’ technology and innovation ecosystem. Technology Investment Meeting (TIM) is one of the key programs of D-8 TTEN which has been held since 2017 and hosted by Pardis Technology Park.

In the fourth round of the meeting, the plan for D-8 Co-fund Initiative (D-8 CoFI) was presented and ratified. The secretariat of D-8 TTEN is trying to unveil the official documents of the CoFI in the fifth round of Technology Investment Meeting which is going to be held on 27-28 February.

 For this purpose, the Letter of Intent’s draft reviewing meeting under supervision of Dr. Rouhoulahh Abujafari, advisor to Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance and the scientific secretary of TIM2023 and with the presence of experts from Presidential Technology Studies Institute and officials of Pardis technology park has been held. Different models of forming the international Co-Fund and the ways to choose investment options were discussed.
